Description

We at AMBA training offer the Award in Education and Training. The course is an intensive 3 day classroom based course. This course is designed to contribute towards the skills, knowledge and understanding of the professional standards for teachers, tutors and trainers in the Lifelong Learning Sector. The qualification provides an entry point and introduction for those new to teaching and training or those wishing to teach or train. It is the qualification for those seeking a ‘stepping stone’ to qualifications that entitle them to teach / train in the sector in either an ‘Associate Teacher’ or ‘Full Teacher’ role. It provides progression to the Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS), for those seeking Associate Teacher status, and the Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS), for those seeking ‘Full Teacher’ QTLS status.
The HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) has been designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers and/or Local Authorities.
It can meet the needs of a range of trainee teachers, such as:

  • Individuals not currently teaching or training – achievement of the qualification does not require practice other than microteaching, unless units from the
    Learning and Development suite of qualifications are selected;
  • Individuals currently teaching and training, including those new to the profession – although the qualification does not require practice (see explanation above), opportunities may be made available to observe and provide feedback on a trainee teacher’s practice; and
  • Individuals currently working as assessors, who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.
THE BENEFITS OF GROUP TRAINING IN THE CLASSROOM:
  • Learn better in a structured trainer/tutor environment
  • Sharing real world experiences
  • Increased focus, motivation and a higher success rate

We have been training in the classroom for nearly for many years and have seen time and time again the benefits of learning with others.
