This course is essential for middle managers who are seeking to enhance their management skills and knowledge whilst introducing a variety of management techniques to support their role within the organisation. The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 professional qualification is designed to be flexible in its approach, with learners able to progress through different sized qualifications from the Award (10 credits), Certificate (20 credits) to the Diploma (40credits and above). Each unit within the qualification has a credit value which can be accumulated to build from the Award through to the Diploma. All units are internally assessed through work based assignments. This course builds from the Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Management qualification and students will complete unit: 1. Principles of Management & Leadership. The course is assessed continually through topic input, group discussions, problem-solving, research and work based activities to enable students to put theory into practice. You will need to set aside half a day for self study. The units are assignment based, assessed internally and externally verified. this course builds from previous qualifications and experience and enables candidates to learn, understand and use management skills in the workplace within a range of disciplines. Upon successful completion of this course, students can carry this unit forward and progress to the Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Certificate or Diploma in Management & Leadership .
