The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is a UK accredited course which is internationally recognised. It is designed to enable middle managers to learn and perform their role more thoughtfully and more effectively. The content is also suitable for Owner Managers who wish to increase their knowledge in this area. The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is a qualification with a minimum of 40 credits. The course consists of 7 units. If you have already completed the Edexcel BTEC Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership, you will gain exemptions for 3 units and will only be required to complete 4 units.

There is potential for the qualification to prepare learners for employment in a particular vocational sector and it is suitable for those who have decided that they wish to enter a specific area of work.

The course provides a sound foundation for managers who wish to develop further and take higher level management and business programmes, such as Edexcel BTEC Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, or move on to a Masters or MBA.
